Fortress’s Levinson contemplates relocation to Singapore

Adam Levinson, among the top rated hedge fund managers globally and co-CIO of the Fortress Macro Fund, is understood to be contemplating a relocation to Singapore from New York. 

US-headquartered Fortress Investments, with $41.7 billion in assets, is reigniting its efforts in Asia and is in the process of opening a Singapore office. The firm recently hired Jeff Fisher from RAB Capital to head up capital formation efforts in Asia for Fortress’s Liquid Markets hedge funds. 

Levinson’s potential move to Asia would mark a further step in what appears to be a clear shift in the centre of power
