Paris-based equity long/short specialist Exane Asset Management may launch a global healthcare fund to add to its sector funds range.Other fund ranges in the asset manager’s €4billion sector stable include technology, European equity, small/mid cap European equities, diversified financials and industrials.
Pierre Sequier, managing director for Exane, said: “We are thinking of launching a global healthcare fund to add to our long/short equity sector funds range. It could be launched in the next couple of months and use the UCITS wrapper. We choose a healthcare fund because it complemented the other strategies we have.”
