Former Eton Park man Alain Demarolle is set to go live in October with his new venture, Alura Partners.
From 2007 to 2010 Demarolle was managing director at Eton Park International, the $12 billion hedge fund headed up by Eric Mindich. Demarolle was based in London, and had primary responsibility for the fund's European blue-chip portfolio. Prior to that, he worked as a senior investment banker at Salomon Smith Barney and Bear Stearns in London and New York.
From 2005 to 2007 he served as the economic and financial advisor to the French prime minister,
