Clwyd Pension Fund grows alternatives allocation


Clwyd Pension Fund, which manages the assets of Flintshire County Council, has issued new tenders for over $158 million as it continues to build its allocation to hedge funds and absolute return products.

Based in Mold in the UK, the $1.5 billion pension fund has set out a tender for one or more multi-asset investment fund managers to provide additional return to the fund through their asset allocation abilities. It will allocate a total of around $95 million, or 6% of total assets.
