Global Advisors, the CTA firm founded by Rus Newton and Danny Masters, has appointed Paul Russell as chief operating officer.
This is Russell’s second stint at Global Advisors, having worked for the firm as compliance director from 2001 to 2007. He then became chief financial officer at Clive Capital, the London-based commodity hedge fund led by former Moore Capital man Christian Levitt with more than $3 billion under management, where he worked until June.
This time around, Russell will oversee all business aspects of the firm, including infrastructure, finance, legal, resources management and third-party outsourcing arrangements. His appointment will
