Citi makes senior hire to head exchange-traded derivatives


Citi has made a significant new appointment in its global exchange-traded derivatives business, hiring Jerome Kemp from JP Morgan as global head of exchange-traded derivatives sales and clearing.

Kemp will report jointly to Jim O’Donnell, head of global investor sales and relationship management at Citi, and Nick Roe, the bank’s head of global prime finance.

“This new role was created to ensure that Citi remains a leader for clients as more products move to centralised clearing,” said Roe and O’Donnell in an internal announcement. Citi's global futures business will report to Kemp, who will officially join later this year and
