EFAMA group adds deputy director general for regulation


The European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA) has appointed Jarkko Syyrilä to a newly created role as deputy director general. Syyrilä, who has been a member of the board since 2008, will assume responsibility for regulatory activities. 

Syyrilä joined the Investment Management Association in 2006, initially as head of European affairs before moving on to become head of international affairs in 2007 and director of international relations in 2008.
