Shutdowns hit 119 in 2010 as attrition rate remains high


The rate of European hedge fund shutdowns continues to run at a high rate, with nearly 120 funds shutting down so far this year.

Among the 119 fund liquidations that have been reported to EuroHedge up to the end of September are several run by well-known firms in the industry – including Cheyne, Trafalgar Asset Managers, TT International, Lazard, Millennium Global, RAB Capital and Threadneedle.
