Greenwich Roundtable: Investors strengthen due diligence checks

Crowded investments, performance, lack of recognised service providers, fees and liquidity are just some of the areas investors are spotting red flags, according to a white paper on due diligence from the Greenwich Roundtable.

The paper, edited by Rusty Olson, former director of pension investments for Eastman Kodak Company, reflects the thinking of a highly diverse group of 15 contributors who have long been active in the business. Due diligence has been a growing area of interest among investors in the post-Madoff era, and the level of detail required by investors and their investigations are growing in scope.
