Credit Suisse has hired Andrew Stewart, chief operating officer and president of Man Investments in the U.S., to head the Swiss bank’s liquid alternatives division, which includes hedge funds and fund of funds. Man Investments is the $14.2 billion fund of funds division of Man Group, the $63 billion alternative investment manager in London. Stewart, who worked in Man Investments’ New York office, oversaw the firm’s activities in the United States.
Stewart left Man Investments on October 29 and will join Credit Suisse in early December. He will report to Ravi Singh, Credit Suisse’s global head of alternative
