Gide Loyrette Nouel, the international law firm headquartered in Paris, has hired Lucy Frew for its London office, where she will launch an investment funds practice. Her appointment is also intended to strengthen the firm’s financial services regulatory capability.
Frew has joined the firm from UBS, where she was a director in legal and compliance for the wealth management and Swiss banking division. She has worked exclusively with financial sector clients since 2001, and has also spent eight months seconded to the UK Financial Services Authority.
