Chicago Teachers hires women-owned firm


The Public School Teachers’ Pension and Retirement Fund of Chicago has hired Pluscios for a $25 million minority or female owned fund of hedge fund mandate.

Pluscios is a Chicago-based firm founded by Connie Teska and Kelly Chesney, who in the 1990s came to manage the $8 billion proprietary portfolio of the First National Bank of Chicago, which later became Banc One.
