by

Altis Partners, the Jersey-based CTA managing $1.5 billion, has launched a Hong Kong office to provide 24-hour global trading support for its managed futures program, having recently gained an asset-management licence from the city’s Securities and Futures Commission.

Led by COO Robin Duxfield, the new operation will primarily monitor and provide support for Altis’ fully automated proprietary trading system based in Jersey, which transacts in more than markets globally, according to its principal, Stephen Hedgecock.

The team will also provide intelligence on the trading environment within Asia, where Altis transacts in futures markets in Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan
