Capstone sees steady asset growth in Asia Volatility fund


US multi-strategy manager Capstone, with $1 billion in assets, has seen $100 million of inflows into its Asia Volatility fund this year alone, on the back of strong performance as well as rising interest in Asian non-correlated and alternative strategies, as compared to the more traditional demand for long/short managers.

Capstone Asia Volatility fund scooped the Global Macro AsiaHedge award

This takes the multi-strategy Asia funds AUM to $175 million, up from $25 million at launch and $75 million at end-2009.
