Ex-City minister Myners appointed to ARK board of trustees


Paul Myners has been appointed to the board of trustees for ARK (Absolute Return for Kids), the international children’s charity set up by a group of hedge fund luminaries.

Myners is a high-profile veteran of the investment management industry who was given a life peerage in 2008 and served as City minister for Gordon Brown’s Labour government from 2008 until earlier this year.

He has previously served as CEO and later chairman of Gartmore, as an independent director of GLG Partners, and as chairman of Marks & Spencer and of Land Securities Group, among other roles.
