Threadneedle taps Merrill veteran Raymundo Yu

Threadneedle Asset Management has appointed Raymundo Yu as chairman of Asia Pacific, a newly-created position by the London-based firm, which has significant growth plans in the region.

Yu is a long-serving Merrill Lynch veteran, having spent nearly three decades in various posts in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, the UK and the US. He served as the bank’s Asia Pacific chairman from 2000 until his retirement in2008.
