Dock Street sets up in Asia to seek distressed credit


New York-based Dock Street Capital Management, a specialist in distressed structured credit products, has opened an office in Hong Kong. It is headed by Xiaolian Wang who joins from Investcorp, where she served as a vice-president of the Bahrain-based alternative investment firm.

As Dock Street, Wang takes on the role of managing director and head of business development for Asia, leading the firm’s regional growth plans – which include potential investments – and fundraising activities.

Founded last year by former staff of KBC Structured Investment Management, Dock Street provides advisory and asset valuation and advisory services to develop investment products
