Blankfein joins Robin Hood charity board

Lloyd Blankfein, a vice chairman at Goldman Sachs, was recently appointed to the board of the Robin Hood Foundation. Blankfein, who has management responsibilities for fixed income, commodities, currencies and equities at Goldman Sachs, will sit on the Robin Hood executive board alongside such notables in the hedge fund industry as Stanley Druckenmiller and Paul Tudor Jones II.

The charitable foundation's main focus is fighting poverty in New York City through advocacy and grants to social programs.
