Ex-Duquesne tech star starts fund


Ravi Kaza, a former managing director in the technology sector at Stanley Druckenmiller's Duquesne Capital Management, has raised $160 million for his San Francisco-based Seasons Capital Management fund. Kaza is planning to close his long/short, fundamentally driven technology fund to investors in the early fall, with approximately $250 million in assets.

Before Duquesne, Kaza was at Pequot Capital Management, working on Dan Benton's technology team before they spun out in 2001 to launch Andor Capital Management.
