Brodkowitz moves to Balyasny

Ken Brodkowitz has left Galleon Partners to join Chicago-based Balyasny Asset Management, a proprietary trading operation run by Dmitry Balyasny. In his new role, Brodkowitz is expected to serve as a senior portfolio manager. He will likely draw on his knowledge of the tech and media sectors built up at Raj Rajaratnam's Galleon group. At Galleon, Brodkowitz worked as co-head on the group's flagship Admiral Fund strategy, where he managed in excess of $250 million. Going forward, Admiral will now be managed solely by Brodkowitz's former partner, Michael Curtis.
