Laffont loses two of his top men


Philippe Laffont, the former Tiger man who runs the $600 million Coatue Capital technology-focused hedge fund, has suffered something of a setback with the departure of two of his senior lieutenants - Matt Hastings and Riley McCormack.

McCormack, a senior analyst, is understood to be hatching plans for his own vehicle. He was seen as a 'big producer' for the fund and is expected to attract some interest from investors.
