Troubled comeback for Londoner


It appears as if Kenneth Londoner's attempt to stage a comeback in the hedge fund industry has already foundered. Less than 18 months after the collapse of his previous firm, Red Coat Capital Management, it seems his efforts to raise money for his planned new fund, Arrowpoint Partners, have run into trouble. Both his partner, Ken Fried and prime broker, UBS, dissociated themselves from Londoner following new revelations about the demise of Red Coat and personal problems faced by Londoner, including an arrest for the possession of cocaine in July 2002.
