Tennis star Michael Chang, who was the youngest French Open winner when he won that title in 1989 at the age of 17, is now turning his power game on the hedge fund industry. Chang is backing a hedge fund venture planned by brother Carl and long-time friend Gerald Yung. The duo will launch a long/short hedge fund with $20 million next month, which will focus on the Pacific Rim.
