Morette ponders life after Citadel

Bob Morette, Citadel Investment's chief of corporate strategy and development, has resigned from the firm after helping to build it over the last seven years into a $9.5 billion operation employing about 680 people. Morette has apparently not decided what he plans to do next, but is expected to remain within the hedge fund world. Morette was an employee at Citadel for four years, and previously worked for the firm full-time as a consultant through the Boston Consulting Group. Citadel is the Chicago multi-strategy firm founded by Ken Griffin.
