Asilis joins Vega platform


One of the world's fastest-growing hedge fund operations, Vega, with over $9 billion under management, is set to roll out two new funds under its 'Vega Plus' incubator initiative in New York.

One of the funds, Linnaeus, a global macro portfolio, will be lead-managed by Carlo Asilis, initially out of the U.S. Asilis has managed assets within the Vega Global fund since March 2003, achieving his return objective at around half the proposed volatility limit. Linnaeus will target returns between 20% and 25%, and annual volatility between 10% and 15%.
