Debt default negotiator to run Greylock fund


Greylock Capital Management, formerly part of Van Eck Absolute Return Advisers, has launched a second fund mirroring the distressed debt portion of its existing seven-year flagship fund, Greylock Global Opportunity Fund. The Greylock Global Distressed Debt Fund focuses on non-G7 regions and is managed by Hans Humes, the co-chair of the Global Committee of Argentina Bondholders.

The Greylock Global Distressed Debt Fund will hold approximately 20-30 positions, all in distressed securities, whereas the Greylock Global Opportunity Fund invests 50%-65% in high yielding securities and 35%-50% in distressed debt. Humes and his team divide the globe into four principal
