The founder of Capital Market Risk Advisors, Leslie Rahl, has been chosen to serve on the board of Fannie Mae. The mortgage-lending giant, whose charter is to expand home ownership, has suffered sharp criticism of late in political circles over meeting those goals, as well as fiscal management and aggressive portfolio structure. With that in mind, it's perhaps no surprise that Fannie Mae has recruited a risk management heavyweight such as Rahl who has honed her skills in trenches of the hedge fund theatre.
