Parameter Partners has opened the equity fund that it has been running internally for the past year to outside investors. The New York-based fund is a joint venture between Eugene Major, founder of fund of funds firm Dunbar Capital Management, and Adam Hutt, who has been running an equity strategy within his own firm Leviticus Partners.
Parameter is a more conservative version of Leviticus Partners, which looks to capitalize on Hutt's stock-picking capabilities and Major's risk management skills. The portfolio, which returned 31.9% last year net-of-fees, invests in U.S. equities in the small and mid-cap markets. Parameter was 70%-75%
