Putnam Lovell NBF Securities has been quietly incubating a convertible bond fund that it plans to roll out in the coming months. It is the first of a series of funds that the group intends to incubate with internal capital before offering to outside investors.
Putnam Lovell recently hired Luke Imperatore from Old Hill Partners, a fixed-income and asset-backed group, to help market the funds on the platform. Imperatore will work with Daniel Kochav, who heads up Putnam Lovell NBF's alternative investments group.
