Carnegie Board appoints Druckenmiller


Fiona Druckenmiller, an ordained interfaith reverend, former portfolio manager for Dreyfus funds and wife of Duquesne Capital's chief Stanley Druckenmiller, was named to the board of trustees for the prestigious

Carnegie Corporation. The philanthropic foundation, established by Andrew Carnegie, oversees an endowment of close to $2 billion, which writes an average of $80 million in grants a year. Fiona will help oversee the $2 billion portfolio. She met Stan when they both worked at Dreyfus. She is also related to another hedge fund notable. Her uncle is Barton Biggs, who runs Traxis Partners.
