QIM opens to outsiders


The Charlottesville, Virginia-based hedge fund group Quantitative Investment Management, which was formed last year, has just opened its first CTA program to outside investors.

The QIM Global Program is being overseen by a team led by Jaffray Woodriff, a veteran futures pro who was formerly a head trader at Blue Ridge Trading. It trades a broad array of futures markets including currencies, metals, interest rates, index futures and energies.
