Putnam Lovell may add macro fund to incubator


Putnam Lovell NBF Securities is gearing up for the launch of its second fund on its new hedge fund platform. The firm is currently prepping the launch of a global macro fund. At the same time, the firm has opened its first fund, Tenor Opportunity, to outside investors and is looking to raise as much as $150 million before the end of the year.

Headed up by former J.P. Morgan portfolio manager, Robin Shah, Tenor Opportunity currently runs $100 million in seed capital from Putnam Lovell in a separately managed account. It is not clear whether the second fund
