Hedge fund titans making moves in art circles


Hedge fund managers Ken Griffin of Citadel Investment and Anne Dias of Aragon Global Investments together recently became among the world's top art collectors, due to the Chicago couple's purchase of a $60 million painting by French impressionist painter, Paul Cezanne.

The acquisition of the 1893 still life, "Rideau, cruchon et comporier", also put 35-year-old Griffin and his wife among the youngest collectors ever to make the annual "top 10" list put out by Art News, a leading industry magazine. It was also the first time the couple ever made the list, which is typically made up of collectors
