Oleg Movchen has resigned from his post as a director of risk management at Ritchie Capital Management, the $1.6 billion multi-strategy fund run by A.R. Thane Ritchie.
Word has it that Movchen has taken a similar post with Alexandra Investment Management. Alexandra manages about $1.5 billion of convertible arbitrage assets and is based in New York.
Alexandra made a splash in the news in May after Federal authorities arrested Slava Volman - who was then the firm's head of private placements - on charges of stock fraud, money laundering and conspiracy allegedly committed before he joined Alexandra.
