Everyone knows that the Citadel Investment Group's chief Ken Griffin is one of the stars of the hedge fund industry. But many may forget how rich Griffin is - not to mention, how comparatively young he is.

Griffin recently ranked "number eight" in the Forbes Magazine ranking of the richest Americans under the age of 40.
