Andor's Chris James is not looking to be outdone by the bumper crop of multi-billion dollar launches from high-profile managers this fall. The former co-founder of Andor Capital is keeping up with the Jones' on all levels including assets, infrastructure and manpower.
James is said to be requiring a $25 million minimum investment for his new venture, Partner Funds, and has reportedly received capital commitments in excess of $1 billion.
He has also sunk approximately half a million dollars on back office, IT and phone systems in anticipation of his October launch.
