JPMorgan Incubator Strategies recently inked a deal with Lyford Capital, a global macro firm. Lyford had been operating an offshore product exclusively for a high-net-worth family. Now the firm has teamed up with JPMorgan and plans to begin taking in outside capital for both the offshore and domestic fund. Lyford currently manages $52 million in assets.
The fund is run by Samer Nsouli, who has been managing it since its inception in June 2002. Since then it has had a compounded annual return of 14%. Lyford's portfolio consists of two to three themes with eight to 10 positions.
