Marathon has good run


Unlike many other strategies, emerging markets managers seemed to find ways to make money in August, with no funds in the Absolute Return emerging markets index posting losses. Market watchers say there are aspects of emerging markets that appear to be more fairly valued than more developed markets at this stage. The Moore Emerging Markets fund notched a 0.52% gain in August; that brings its three-month total to 1.75% and its year-to-date gain to 0.15%.
