Britt McLoy, a former analyst at Osiris Investment Partners and associate portfolio manager at Neuberger Berman, is prepping for the launch of a long/short equity fund. Boston-based Stonefly Capital Management will roll out Stonefly Partners at the beginning of next year.
The fund will primarily invest in small and micro-cap stocks in U.S. companies. On average, it will maintain 40 to 60 long and short positions as a way of ensuring diversification.
