Zinc adds Jahaly as new COO

Ray Jahaly has joined Zinc Capital Management as the firm's chief operating officer. Jahaly formerly worked within the capital introductions groups of prime brokerage divisions at Morgan Stanley and Lehman Brothers. New York-based Zinc manages long/short equity funds with an active trading bent. The addition of Jahaly to the newly created post suggests that Zinc may be poising itself for further growth.

Zinc's head portfolio manager is Bradley Zipper, a Brooklyn native and former professional hockey player was previously head trader at New York-based Herzog Heine Gould, which was later acquired by Merrill Lynch.
