Tudor Investment will be opening an Australian office early in the New Year. This follows the recent establishment of a Singapore operation in October when the Pagoda team moved over to the large US headquartered outfit.
The move comes as part of Tudor's expansion plans in the region. John Balderstone will be moving from the firm's UK office over to Sydney and will begin trading during the first quarter of the year. He has been managing a fixed-income portfolio for the firm for the past four years.
Mark Nicholson, a Tudor managing director, will help Balderstone run the office.
