Joshua Feuerman, who formerly ran a high-performing hedge fund strategy for Deutsche Asset Management, has launched his own market neutral, quantitative fund with the backing of Capital Z.
Stamford, Conn.-based BTN Partners began trading on December 1 with $25 million of assets.
Feuerman had been with Deutsche since 1999, most recently producing high double-digit returns with his $130 million DB Symmetria US Fund. Previously, he headed international quantitative equity strategies at State Street Global Advisors, where he also worked in quantitative research and managing long-only portfolios.
