Hedge funds focused on US equities and those with macro strategies had the strongest performance in November, according to data compiled by Absolute Return.
The Absolute Return US Equity Index gained 3.1% for the month, leaving returns on the year at just below 6.0%. The gain was the highest for this strategy since August 2000. Macro funds returned about 2.6% for the month, leaving returns at 3.0% on the year.
