Josh Feuerman, the former head of global quantitative equities at Deutsche Asset Management, has resurfaced at Stamford, Conn.-based BTN Partners. Feuerman rolled out his new fund with $25 million in seed capital from hedge fund incubator Capital Z Partners.
BTN U.S. Equity Master Fund will hold 40 to 60 names on both the long and short side. The strategy will be run relatively market neutral, but the volatility will be slightly higher than most market neutral funds, ranging between 10%-12% annually.
