Hedge fund manager Michael Steinhardt has a big heart. And more people are aware of that fact, thanks to a recent profile of the manager that ran in the Philadelphia Inquirer that coincided with the 64-year-old philanthropist's largesse recently surpassing the $100 million mark -- $110 million to be exact. The Philly paper focused on Wharton School alumni's gifts in the region, including substantial donations to University of Pennsylvannia, where a campus building bears Steinhardt's name. In addition to supporting education, Steinhardt's charity is focused on Jewish cultural groups.
