Colorado-based Itros Capital Management is pulling the plug on its $250 million fund so that portfolio manager and firm investment chief John Schroer can spend more time with his family and pursue other interests.
Schroer, 39, says his plan amounts to taking a sabbatical and that Itros will likely be relaunched at some point in the future. Schroer had run Itros for four years and prior to that, he ran mutual funds for Invesco.
At Itros, investing focused on the healthcare sector such as in pharmaceuticals and biotech. The fund generated positive performance over its four-year run.
