Carriol exits marketing chief role at Halcyon

Jean-Philippe Carriol recently left his post as marketing chief for the New York-based hedge fund shop, Halcyon Asset Management, a group that invests in event-driven opportunities. Carriol had previously headed product development at ING Alternative Asset Management and worked as a trader for New York-based West Broadway Partners. Carriol's plans were not immediately clear, but his duties, in the short run, were expected to be assumed by Halcyon managing principal Herb Adler and client relations officer Parthie Darrell.
