Soros addresses Phoenix cabal


Some $12 million in political donations from George Soros may have failed to knock George W. Bush out of office in 2004, but the hedge fund manager isn't giving up on championing what he sees as progressive politics in America. Soros recently addressed members of the newly formed Phoenix Group, a loose affiliation of politically active business leaders and left-leaning tech-industry executives. At a meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona, Soros pitched the idea of seeding liberal and progressive think tanks.
