A slew of high profile distressed experts who have spun out of big name shops recently to start their own funds seem to be paving the way for others to jump on the bandwagon.

Mark Brodsky and Adam Stanislavsky have recently joined the ranks of distressed managers looking to see their own name on the door. The pair - who hail from Elliott Associates and John A. Levin Co., respectively - have formed Aurelius Capital Management and are expected to roll out a distressed fund before the summer.
