ReachCapital Management, a long/short equity shop based in Harrison, New York, announced that it has hired Erwin Kooij as a senior analyst to work in the firm's new satellite office in the Netherlands.
Kooij most recently worked as head of an equity research team at ABN Amro that focused on the Benelux countries. At ReachCapital, he will focus on small and mid-cap companies in Europe.
ReachCapital was founded in 2000 by Nigel Hart and Pieter Taselaar. The firm manages $870 million across three long/short equity funds: the ReachCapital Funds, the Lucern Capital Funds and the Lucerne Mid-Cap funds.
